External Transport of Donor Tubes from Collection Sites to Testing Centers
The MaxPlus Donor Tube Shippers are optimized for transporting refrigerated or controlled room temperature (CRT) donor tubes (cooling down to 2-8°C). They do not require bench-time or special handling, which dramatically improves efficiency and simplifies the packing process.
The MaxPlus Donor Tube Shippers are available in three sizes for shipping efficiency. The smaller size (DT10V48) is equipped with a dedicated tube rack to hold up to 64 donor tubes, the medium size (U17DT24) has the flexibility to pack the donor tubes in a dedicated tube rack for up to 190 donor tubes or in bundles without the rack to reach the capacity of up to 250 donor tubes, and the larger size (DT13V72) can maintain up to 512 donor tubes for 72 hours. Each shipper is equipped with the necessary coolant bottles, tube rack, containment bag, and absorbent material to protect and properly maintain temperature and industry compliance.
Reinforced handles and durable high-strength corrugated construction ensure that the shipper can withstand the rigors of third-party logistics (3PL) handling. The lightweight polypropylene shell material is not only durable but chemically inert, making it easy to clean and disinfect so that it can be re-used reliably for continuous shipping. With this long service life in mind, outer shells can easily be replaced should they show signs of wear from ongoing use.
