External Transport of Blood Products for Multiple Blood Center Operations
The MaxPlus Multi-Product Shipper is optimized for transporting and storing blood products collected from donation sites to processing labs, use for hospital services, and local or out of state distribution. This diverse shipping solution is capable of maintaining unprocessed whole blood units cooling toward 20-24°C or 1-10°C and processed red blood cell units or plasma units at 1-10°C. It does not require bench-time or special handling, which dramatically improves efficiency and simplifies the packing process.
Each shipper is equipped with the necessary coolant packs to protect and properly maintain temperature. Reinforced handles and durable high-strength corrugated construction ensure that the shipper can withstand the rigors of third-party logistics (3PL) handling. The polypropylene shell material is not only durable but chemically inert, making it easy to clean and disinfect so it can be re-used reliably for continuous shipping. With this long service life in mind, outer shells can easily be replaced should they show signs of wear from ongoing use.
