The MaxPlus PharmaPack is smaller and lighter than most of the commonly used specialty pharmacy packaging solutions. This compact shipping solution can reduce specialty pharmacy cross-country shipping costs for medication delivery by up to 50%.
To further maximize cost efficiencies, the system is qualified to use the same pack-out materials all year round, which eliminates the need to purchase multiple product mixes seasonally.
The cost to ship boxes to the pharmacy from the vendor is often overlooked. MaxQ can fit up to 350 PharmaPack systems per pallet. This is compared to other current packaging solutions that can only fit 40-80 units per pallet. The ability to fit more boxes on a single pallet allows specialty pharmacies to ship more to the site for less.
MaxPlus PharmaPack systems can easily be stored in any pharmacy due to their small footprint. No more storing boxes that fill the pharmacy floor to ceiling. In addition to the smaller outer shell, the system has minimal packaging material, saving space on work tables and other counter space in the pharmacy. With less storage space required, the specialty pharmacy operational environment becomes considerably more efficient.

The MaxPlus PharmaPack systems come equipped with the necessary coolants, standard pack-out instructions, and a design qualification (DQ) report. Requiring minimal additional packing material, the systems can be assembled in seconds. The MaxPlus PharmaPack delivers reliable performance in a compact container. Introduced in two sizes, the packs allow for temperature-controlled shipping and delivery for up to 48 hours in summer and winter. Qualified against ISTA 7E extreme ambient conditions, trusted by regulatory bodies and most biopharma manufacturers, specialty pharmacies can anticipate a simplified and streamlined PQ testing process. By eliminating the need to perform multiple tests to get passing results, specialty pharmacies can reduce the time and resources required.
To maximize operational efficiencies further, MaxQ provides the industry’s most flexible purchasing, storing, and implementation options to meet our customers’ unique requirements. The MaxPlus PharmaPack systems have a low minimum order quantity to accommodate smaller pharmacies or those with less storage space. Specialty pharmacies also have the option to purchase and store the PharmaPack systems at MaxQ until they are ready for use or have the space to store them in-house.
